Sightglass Berkeley

Nice to see you, Berkeley

Our first East Bay café, and our first new location in six years. Situated at the corner of University and Oxford, directly across from UC Berkeley, it's a space built for the neighborhood: students, locals, and anyone who takes their coffee seriously. Photo: Kelly Sullivan.

Community

We're on the ground floor of the Helen Diller Anchor House: a student housing tower designed to support UC Berkeley transfer students. It's one of the most vibrant corners in the East Bay, and we couldn't be happier to be here.

Experience

1,700 square feet of high ceilings, natural light, and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto University Avenue. A hand-built 12-foot fixture floats above the bar, playing with the light as the day moves. It's the kind of space you want to spend a morning in.

Location

Berkeley has always had a coffee culture of its own: curious, engaged, and local. Our café sits at the heart of it, where students and longtime East Bay residents share the same space. We built it with both in mind: plenty of room to settle in and a food program rooted in local partnerships.
